Noida Police Saves 387 Families from Breaking Apart in 2025

Noida: The Noida Police have played a pivotal role in keeping families together in 2025 through their dedicated counseling initiatives. Under the Family Dispute Resolution Clinics (FDRC), the police successfully prevented 387 families from breaking apart this year. Authorities stated that this initiative will continue in the coming years.

ADC Police (Women Safety) Manisha Singh informed that the district currently operates FDRC centers at three locations—Sector-108, Knowledge Park, and Cherry County. These clinics provide counseling and mediation to resolve marital disputes and restore harmony between couples. In 2025, a total of 533 marital dispute cases were reported across these centers. Out of these, 411 cases were successfully resolved through counseling, while mediation is ongoing in the remaining cases. Only 24 cases required formal police registration, with 387 cases settled amicably. Authorities claim that just five percent of complaints necessitated direct police action.

The Gautam Buddh Nagar Police Commissionerate established the Family Dispute Resolution Clinics in 2000 to address domestic conflicts with expert guidance. Commissioner Laxmi Singh emphasized that both Noida and Greater Noida are actively working to resolve domestic disputes considering social dynamics and evolving lifestyles. Counseling is paired with legal advice to ensure comprehensive solutions, with separate FDRC centers operating across the three zones of the city.
